Celebrating the Power of Belonging at LearnUpon
This past August, LearnUpon put the spotlight on something that’s at the heart of our culture: belonging.
We believe that belonging is more than simply being part of a team — it’s about being valued, respected, and empowered to bring your authentic self to work. When people feel they belong, they not only thrive individually but also contribute to stronger teams and a healthier, more innovative workplace.
A Learning Moment for Our People
As part of our ongoing commitment to Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIB), we introduced a short 15-minute e-learning course to spark reflection across the business.
The aim? To pause and think about the role belonging plays in our culture, and how each of us contributes to it.
Available to all LearnUpon employees, the course focused on:
- Defining belonging at LearnUpon and what it looks like in practice.
- Recognizing how identity shapes experiences — including factors like race, gender, neurodiversity, and sexuality.
- Highlighting the importance of inclusive practices in creating equitable workplaces.
- Identifying practical actions to help ensure everyone feels seen, valued, and safe.
Why This Matters
At LearnUpon, we believe every person’s perspective and experience adds value. By recognizing and celebrating those differences, we build a stronger community where everyone has the opportunity to contribute and succeed.
This initiative wasn’t just about learning, it was about action. It encouraged our people to reflect on how they contribute to inclusivity every day and how they can support colleagues in feeling a true sense of belonging.
Our Commitment Going Forward
Belonging isn’t a one-time focus; it’s something we build on every day. Through initiatives like this course, we’re weaving inclusivity into how we work, making sure our values of respect, equity, and support are lived across every team.
We’re proud of the steps our teams have taken and remain committed to making LearnUpon a place where every individual feels at home.
